A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or equivalent qualifications) is required, with duties including developing players, teaching tactical skills, and upholding the team’s ethics.

Qualifications

• Dynamic, highly qualified candidate for assistant Boys Hockey coach with high school/collegiate coaching experience.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to build positive relationships within the program and community.
• Valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) required.

Responsibilities

• Generate an attitude of fair play adhering to the Minnesota State High School League Code of Ethics.
• Carry out responsibilities of an assistant coach.
• Be in regular attendance at all competitions and trainings sessions.
• Instruct student-athletes in rules, rule changes, new developments and coaching ideas.
• Have understanding and knowledge of rules and regulations as presented by the Minnesota State High School League.
• Adhere to the educational and athletic philosophy and objectives of White Bear Lake Area Schools.
