Qualifications

• Degrees must be from accredited institutions; foreign degrees require evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in a full range of Anthropology courses.
• Support student recruitment and transfer articulation for Social Science.
• Maintain currency in subject matter and update curricula.
• Develop and revise curriculum; use multimedia technology.
• Possibly teach at other campus sites and via distance learning.

Education

Master's in anthropology or archaeology

Bachelor's in anthropology or archaeology + Master's in sociology/biological/forensic/genetics/paleontology

Valid credential enabling full-time teaching at CCC level

Equivalent qualifications (with formal equivalence request)

Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds
