Qualifications

• Master's degree in subject area (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Anatomy) OR an equivalent combination with 18+ graduate hours.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret materials related to area of expertise.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and course delivery software.

Responsibilities

• Prepares lessons and course materials in accordance with the college's curriculum, using appropriate teaching methods and resources.
• Adheres to course syllabi, ensuring alignment with program goals and accreditation requirements.
• Delivers instruction using varied instructional techniques to support diverse learning styles.
• Maintains a positive, inclusive, and professional classroom environment that fosters student engagement and success.
• Maintains regular communication with students regarding progress, attendance, and performance; provides academic advising and tutoring as needed.
