Job summary

Artportunity Knocks Inc. seeks an energetic Dance Instructor to lead after-school dance programming for students in grades K–8. You will develop technical skills, creativity, confidence, and performance ability through structured instruction and choreography.

The ideal candidate has strong dance experience, classroom management, and a commitment to youth development. In-person instruction at multiple Atlanta locations with a safe, inspiring learning environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated dance experience and ability to teach youth dance instruction.
• Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or arts settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach dance fundamentals including rhythm, coordination, technique, and movement expression.
• Introduce students to styles such as hip hop, contemporary, jazz, cultural dance, or creative movement.
• Develop structured lesson plans aligned with skill levels and program goals.
• Create choreography and guide students toward performance readiness.
