Solon Middle School seeks an 8th grade girls basketball head coach for the 2026-27 school year. This part-time position is paid under the district's extra service contract schedule and focuses on building a positive athletic environment for growth in sport, knowledge, and sportsmanship.

The coach will develop and manage practice and competition schedules and communicate with student athletes, parents, and the Solon community to foster a love of basketball.

• Establish and maintain a positive athletic environment for student athletes to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes, beliefs, and sportsmanship.
• Develop and manage practice and competition schedules that foster love of the sport and healthy competition.
• Maintain effective communication with student athletes, their parents, and the community.
