Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Instructional Process; knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of instructional specialty(ies) to which assigned
• Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory to instructional programs
• Skill in the use of multi‑media and computer technology to enhance learning

Responsibilities

• Assesses student achievement and maintains appropriate assessment and evaluation documentation for reporting
• Plans and implements instructional strategies and activities with appropriate materials; utilizes technology to enhance learning
• Manages student behavior to maintain a conducive learning environment
• Coordinates instructional activities with other professional staff to maximize learning opportunities
• Collaborates with parents to keep them informed of student progress
