Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• NYS certification preferred.

• Teaching experience in an urban school setting preferred.
• Ability to create a classroom setting where students of every academic level experience enjoyment, engagement, and enthusiasm in their learning.
• Strong teamwork ethic.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in content area classes and help them reach their full potential.
• Plan for students of all ability levels, including ELL and students with disabilities.
• Provide opportunities for tutoring, enrichment, and collaborative programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to write unit plans and share teaching strategies.
• Use formative and summative data to guide instructional planning.
