Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift to keep production equipment operating at peak performance. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting, troubleshoot issues, and support uptime goals.

This role requires reading blueprints, welding and fabrication experience, forklift operation, and a careful eye for safety, quality, and detail.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety, quality and detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production machinery.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Install, replace, and maintain machinery and facility equipment.
• Fabricate and repair parts as needed, including welding tasks.
• Coordinate and support scheduled maintenance projects.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures.
