Qualifications

• Licensed by the MA DESE in Elementary (1-6) preferred.
• SEI Endorsement on License preferred.
• Bachelor’s or higher earned academic degree.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of subject matter and pedagogy with engaging learning experiences.
• Provides differentiated learning experiences to progress all students toward outcomes.
• Develops well-structured lessons with measurable objectives and engaging activities.
• Designs units with measurable outcomes and higher-order thinking tasks.
• Administers informal and formal assessments to measure student progress.
• Analyzes assessment results to guide instruction and interventions.
• Provides descriptive feedback to students and families for improvement.
• Maintains high expectations and a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Collaborates with colleagues to support student learning and intervention.
• Maintains regular attendance and completes duties as assigned by administration.
