The City of Atlanta is seeking a skilled equipment operator to manage heavy and medium-sized trucks and construction equipment. You will transport equipment and materials to and from worksites, perform daily maintenance, and support wastewater system operations.
Candidates should have a High School diploma and at least four years of relevant driving and equipment experience, including backhoes, loaders, and excavators. This is a full-time, on-site role with a focus on safety and efficiency.
$44,369 - $59,232
Operates rubber tire backhoe/loader, track backhoe, excavator, tandem, and/or dump trucks, front-end loader, track loader, bull dozier, excavator, low-boy tractor trailer, construction equipment and all other medium to heavy equipment as assigned. Transports to and from the motor transport facilities to support wastewater collection system operation and maintenance. Load, haul and unload equipment materials and supplies to and from worksites to complete jobs

Education and Experience –
Valid Class A Georgia Commercial driver’s license.

Very heavy work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
