Job summary

A dynamic technology firm in Charlotte, NC is seeking a qualified individual with a strong background in DW/BI, Teradata, and Informatica for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with several years of hands-on experience in software development and project life cycle activities. Responsibilities include designing and implementing an ETL/ELT framework for complex data warehouses. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle.
• At least 2 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies, Teradata and Informatica.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle for DW/BI projects.

Job description

Experience & Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Software development life cycle
• At least 2 years of experience in DW/BI related technologies, Teradata and Informatica - MUST
• At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on DW/BI development and maintenance projects
• At least 2 years of experience in Design and Architecture review
• At least 2 years of hands on experience in Design, Development & Build activities in Teradata and Informatica Projects
• Knowledge of Teradata Architecture, Design, Best Practices and troubleshooting
• Knowledge in creating cached resources and Data Sources in Teradata ETL Domain
• Understanding of Unix/Linux system, file systems, shell scripting
• Experience with design and implementation of ETL/ELT framework for complex warehouses/marts
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Financial domain
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of experience with DW/BI, Teradata, Informatica and related tools.
