Job Summary

Seven years of progressive responsibility in an IT environment with demonstrated technical knowledge and three years of relevant experience with enterprise-wide integration architecture in a .NET environment.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Design and develop web‑based applications using C#, .NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL Server, and RESTful Web APIs.
• Strong knowledge in cloud‑based architecture and design solutions; experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to resolve differences of opinion and publish scalable, high‑quality system designs based on specifications.
• Experience with source code control systems (DevOps preferred) and CI/CD processes.
• Deep knowledge of OOAD and multi‑tier architectures; application of architectural design patterns.
• Experience with SOA / EDA, Microservices using Web API, and queue‑based processing (RabbitMQ, MSMQ, etc.).
• Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale, high‑performing, high‑transactional systems; diagram and document designs and requirements.
• Set strategic architectural direction in integration technologies; design and architect Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using AD, Microsoft application servers, and Azure.
• Design and develop low‑level and production environments to support the software development cycle; guide project teams with consistent implementation.
• Align projects with business and IT strategy; write policies and standards to sustain compliance; collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure secure coding practices.
• Develop product roadmaps and align efforts to meet security goals.
• Deep knowledge of service‑oriented architecture frameworks, standards, and tools; understand security considerations and implications surrounding SOA and transaction management.
• Estimate project timelines and dependencies; understand governance process and enterprise architecture processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills; multitask in fast‑paced environments; adapt quickly to changing business needs.
• Optimize database systems for performance and reliability; monitor and resolve database issues; ensure data integrity and quality.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or MSMQ; design and develop databases.
• High‑level experience with Virginia State Government and VITA highly desired.
