Willow Grace Veterinary Hospital in Delaware Smyrna is seeking a compassionate Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, perform routine and advanced surgeries as appropriate, and educate clients on preventive health and nutrition.

You will collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active Delaware veterinary license or ability to obtain one before employment.
• DEA license or ability to obtain, if applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
• Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures based on experience.
• Administer vaccinations and preventative care.
• Educate clients on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
