Job summary

Yukon Veterinary Hospital in Yukon, Oklahoma, invites 1st–4th year veterinary students to join a DVM Student Externship. The program offers paid externship hours, 1:1 mentorship, and opportunities related to future ownership through our Partner Track, with flexible scheduling.

As part of a welcoming team, externs gain hands-on exposure across vaccines, routine checkups, diagnostics, and surgery support, under supervision of licensed veterinarians. Compensation is up to $15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary student in good standing from an AVMA-accredited program.
• 1st through 4th year veterinary students eligible.
• Externship focused on real-world clinical learning.

Responsibilities

• Externship provides hands-on exposure under supervision.
• Receive 1:1 mentorship and guidance from DVMs.
• Engage in procedures and patient care across vaccines, checkups, diagnostics, and dental care.
• Flexible scheduling and opportunity to align with learning goals.
