Job summary

West Orange Veterinary Hospital in New York seeks veterinary students (1st–4th year) for a paid externship designed to enhance education through real-world experience. Flexible scheduling and 1:1 mentorship with a DVM mentor network are provided.

Participants will gain hands-on exposure under supervision, with opportunities for future employment preferences and guidance on clinical skills and professional development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled veterinary student in 1st to 4th year (DVM track).
• Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist DVMs and staff during clinical externship experiences.
• Observe and participate in real-world veterinary settings under supervision.
• Develop clinical and professional skills through guided mentorship and feedback.
