Job summary

PriorityPet Urgent Care of Germantown is seeking veterinary student externs (1st–4th year) who are compassionate, team players and strong communicators. You will gain real-world experience through surgical, internal medicine and urgent care cases with mentorship from experienced clinicians.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid externship hours and potential future employment opportunities, plus DVM mentor network and one-on-one guidance. Housing may be available depending on timing.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary student from AVMA-accredited institution.
• Enrolled 1st–4th year of veterinary school.
• Externship offers flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Participate in surgical experiences: C-sections, cystotomies, foreign bodies.
• Engage in internal medicine cases: pancreatitis, PLE, AHDS.
• Gain urgent care exposure: dog bites, HBC, snake bites.
• Receive 1:1 mentorship and access to DVM mentor network.
