Western Veterinary Partners offers veterinary externships across our network of practices in the United States. Students from any year can apply for clinical year externship blocks or informal externship experiences within a WVP practice.
You will work under a supervising veterinarian to gain hands-on experience in practice management, client communication, case histories, and patient care, with opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive team environment.

Western Veterinary Partners externship program allows students to gain valuable real-world experience by taking what you’ve learned in the classroom and bringing it to the clinic. Veterinary Students in any grade can apply for an externship with a WVP Practice as part of their clinical year externship blocks or for informal externship experience.
