Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited AVMA institution required.
• Appropriate state licensure is necessary for practice.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift patients and assist with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication.
• Maintain patients’ medical records.
