Practice:

Acadiana West Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital. Our philosophy at Acadiana West is pets first, but we never forget there is an entire family that comes with that pet. Position Purpose:

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
