Walkertown Veterinary Hospital invites 1st–4th year veterinary students to join as externs. Our 3-veterinarian team supports hands-on learning in a full-service hospital serving Walkertown and surrounding NC communities.

Externs gain real-world experience with mentorship, flexible scheduling, and potential future employment opportunities. This paid externship program emphasizes teamwork and clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a DVM Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• Currently enrolled as a 1st–4th year veterinary student.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience through externship at Walkertown Veterinary Hospital.
• Collaborate with a clinical team and communicate with clients.
