Town & Country Veterinary Clinic is offering an immediate full-time externship for veterinary students in upstate New York. The program combines hands-on medicine and surgery with guided mentorship across three clinics, including Ogdensburg, Potsdam/Canton, and Massena.

Externs receive paid hours at $17 per hour, flexible scheduling, 1:1 mentorship, and pathways toward future ownership through our Partner Track Program and DVM Mentor Network.

Qualifications

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• Enrolled as 1st–4th year student for externship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Town & Country Veterinary Clinic is a welcoming, growing small animal veterinary practice nestled in beautiful rural upstate New York. We are excited to offer an immediate opportunity for a full-time small animal veterinarian to join our friendly team. Our practice includes three conveniently located clinics: one near Ogdensburg, another in the Potsdam/Canton area, and a third in the heart of Massena. Each clinic is just 30–45 minutes apart, making collaboration and support across locations easy. Each of our veterinary clinics is fully equipped with state-of-the-art digital x-ray, in-house blood lab stations, surgical and therapeutic lasers, and ultrasound technology, ensuring top-quality veterinary care for our patients. Our dedicated team includes certified veterinary technicians and caring support staff who are committed to excellent service and a positive client experience. We welcome new graduates and provide strong mentorship to help you grow and thrive.
