Job summary

Candlewood Animal Hospital in Connecticut seeks veterinary student externs for real-world experience in a busy practice devoted to pets and their families. Applicants must be DVM students from AVMA-accredited schools and CT residents or aiming to return home to CT.

The program offers flexible scheduling, paid externship hours, DVM mentor networking, and 1:1 mentorship. It provides exposure to diagnostics, anesthesia, and rehabilitative care with guidance toward future employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a DVM Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• Connecticut resident or planning to return home to CT.
