Carter County Animal Hospital in Ardmore, OK is seeking veterinary student externs to gain real-world experience in a busy, full-service practice.

We welcome 1st through 4th year students from AVMA accredited schools, who are compassionate, strong communicators and eager to learn under mentorship.

Flexible scheduling and paid externship hours are provided, with potential future employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary student enrolled in an AVMA‑accredited program.
• Demonstrates compassion, teamwork, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily clinical activities under supervision.
• Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures.

Carter County Animal Hospital is a full‐service, compassionate veterinary hospital serving Ardmore and the surrounding region.
