A well-established partner hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team in Douglas, GA. This position provides an exciting opportunity to practice veterinary medicine with the support of a friendly, collaborative team in a modern facility. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Play a key role in leading and mentoring staff, fostering a positive and educational environment.
  • Client Care: Foster the human-animal bond by delivering exceptional care, focusing on the well-being of pets and ensuring a positive experience for clients.
  • Medical and Surgical Expertise: Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests, and surgeries while managing a diverse caseload of small animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and ferrets.
  • Staff Development: Support the development of staff members by contributing to the LevelUp clinical training program.
  • Efficient Time Management: Effectively manage multiple patients and priorities within time constraints, ensuring high-quality care.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • Education: DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program.
  • Licensing: Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain a license).
  • Experience: Ideal for veterinarians at all levels of experience, from new graduates to seasoned professionals. Comfort with a variety of clinical procedures, including surgery, is required.
