Job summary

Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is recruiting a Dustcart Driver/Loader to join our client on an ongoing, long-term basis in the Brentwood area.

You will be part of a small team of loaders on daily collection routes, collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties, complete routes in a timely, organised manner, and perform daily vehicle checks following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Previous dustcart/refuse collection experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and stay detail focused.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a small loader team on daily routes.
• Collect waste and recycling from homes and businesses.
• Complete routes in a timely, organised manner.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow health and safety procedures.
• Assist as a Loader when needed: move bins, load waste, heavy lifting.
• Work outdoors in all weather.
