Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a safety-focused Dump Truck Driver to deliver rock, sand, and gravel to customers and job sites. You will perform pre-trip inspections, follow schedules, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and a safe driving record.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
• Excellent vision and physical fitness for driving and maintenance tasks.
• Effective communication with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet delivery schedules.
• Willingness to undergo SRM's pre-employment screenings.
• Experience in dump truck or heavy equipment operation is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dump truck to transport materials within the quarry and to designated locations.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Plan routes, follow delivery schedules, and communicate proactively with dispatch and team members.
• Maneuver trucks for loading and unloading, verifying delivery instructions and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Keep your truck clean and well-maintained, performing minor repairs as needed.
• Represent SRM with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional service on every job.
