Silver Star Construction is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver to transport construction materials for roadway and civil projects throughout the Oklahoma City area. Materials hauled may include gravel, sand, dirt, asphalt, millings, and other construction aggregates.

The role requires safe loading, unloading, DOT compliance, and coordination with dispatchers and crews. You will perform pre-trip inspections, secure loads, and operate a dump truck across varied weather and road conditions.

Competenze

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum of two years verifiable DOT driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no more than two points.
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations and requirements.
• Overtime, night and weekend work as needed.

Mansioni

• Safely transport materials to and from construction sites.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Silver Star Construction is looking for a dependable Class A CDL Driver to transport construction materials for roadway and civil construction projects throughout the Oklahoma City area. Materials hauled may include gravel, sand, dirt, asphalt, millings, and other construction aggregates.

Essential Duties

• Safely transport materials to and from construction sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Climb in and out of the truck during loading and unloading operations
• Secure loads and follow proper tie‑down procedures
• Monitor truck condition and follow maintenance schedules
• Operate in various weather and road conditions
• Assist with seasonal operations, including snow and ice control when required
• Complete additional tasks assigned by supervisors

Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of dump truck operations
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and crews
• Strong time-management skills
• Understanding of safe loading, hauling, and unloading practices
• Knowledge of proper braking, turning, and maneuvering techniques
• Commitment to workplace safety

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Minimum of two years verifiable DOT driving experience
• Acceptable driving record with no more than two points
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations and requirements
• Experience completing daily inspections and log requirements
• Willingness to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while driving
