Job summary

RDH in Goodlettsville, TN is seeking Class A or Class B CDL drivers to join our expanding tri-axle dump truck fleet. Our team prioritizes safety and expects drivers to operate trucks safely, arrive early, and work long hours.

New hires will undergo pre-employment and random drug screenings, ride/drive along in the first week, and must keep trucks clean. Starting pay is $22–$26 per hour, with night shift adding $2 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class A or B CDL.
• Drug-free; pre-employment and random screenings.
• Willing to work 10–12+ hours/day, 5–6 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Operate tri-axle dump trucks safely and efficiently.
• Keep trucks clean inside and out weekly; bed shoveled when needed.
• Arrive to jobsite at least 10 minutes early and work until foreman ends shift.
• Participate in a one-week ride/drive-along before fully starting.

Job description

RDH is looking for Class B or Class A CDL drivers to join our expanding tri-axle dump truck fleet.First and foremost, we pride ourselves on building a reputation of safety, and we expect our drivers to operate each truck in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Cell phone use must be hands-free when the vehicle is on the road. Every driver must be drug-free and submit to a pre-employment drug screening as well as random screenings throughout the year.Prior dump truck experience is preferred but not required, but the ideal candidate will have a clean driving record. Also, each new team member will be subject to at least one week of a ride/ drive along regardless of prior experience.The driver upon hire must download the following apps on their phones and familiarize themselves with using them.-TRUX-Trackit-Fleetwatcher-Ruckit-others as neededOur trucks are 2017 year models or newer with automatic transmissions, and we ask our drivers to keep them as clean as possible. The driver will be responsible for washing and cleaning the truck inside and out at least once a week, and the bed should be shoveled out when needed.The driver must insure they arrive to the jobsite at least 10 minutes before the specified starting time and work until the job foreman cuts them off. Expect to work at least 10-12+ hours/ day and 5-6 days/ week unless our jobs are postponed or canceled due to weather.Starting pay is $22-26/ hr depending on experience, and pay increases are at the discretion of the owner and fleet manager based on the driver’s job performance.
