Job summary

Neighborhood House Of North Richmond is seeking a part-time DUI & Substance Abuse Counselor who is bi-lingual in Spanish. You will conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients grappling with DUI and substance abuse issues, helping to foster their recovery journey.

Preferred candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, along with current certification as a substance abuse counselor and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Flexible work from home options are available.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred
• Current certification or licensure as a substance abuse counselor.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling.
• Strong understanding of DUI laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations bs staff.
• Compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
• Proficient in record-keeping and documentation practices.
