Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Worker / Cover Driver in the United States. This dual-role position trains you to perform both warehouse and cover driver responsibilities, with warehouse as the primary assignment and opportunities to work as a cover driver when needed.

You may rotate between roles based on business needs and seasonality. Typical shifts range from 3.5–5 hours in the warehouse and 8–10 hours as a cover driver, with opportunities to transition to a permanent delivery role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license (no CDL required) and satisfactory driving history.
• Pass the UPS driver test and DOT physical.
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse: load and unload packages from UPS trailers and brown package cars; sort and move packages in a fast-paced warehouse; report for warehouse shifts when not driving.
• Cover Driver: safely operate UPS delivery vehicles; deliver and pick up packages with customer service; work outdoors and at customer locations; meet UPS driver qualification standards.
