UPS is seeking a dual-role Warehouse Worker / Cover Driver in the United States. Primary duties are warehouse tasks with opportunities to drive as a Cover Driver when needed.

You may rotate between warehouse and driving duties based on business needs, with shifts typically spanning 3.5–5 hours in a warehouse and 8–10 hours for driving. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliability.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Stamina – this is a workout like no other!
• Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (License type varies by state – proof required to qualify for the position)
• Satisfactory driving history
• Pass the DOT physical
• Pass a UPS driver test
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills
• Cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS driver appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and iconic brown package cars (vehicles)
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
• Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements
