Position Summary:This position operates in a dual capacity at Catawba Two Kings Casino. Depending onoperational needs and scheduling, the individual will perform the duties of eitherBartender, Beverage Technician, or Beverage Server. The Dual Rate Bartender isresponsible for delivering exceptional beverage service as a frontline team member.This role ensures a safe, engaging guest experience that complies with all companypolicies, health regulations, and alcohol service laws.Core Responsibilities:Bartender:• Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks quickly andaccurately.• Deliver friendly, prompt, and attentive service while monitoring guest behavior foroverconsumption.• Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age and uphold responsiblebeverage service policies.• Accurately handle cash, credit card, and player comp transactions using POS systems.• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, andstock.• Work closely with cocktail servers and barbacks to ensure smooth operations.Beverage Server:• Greet guests on the gaming floor and in beverage outlets in a friendly, courteous, andtimely manner.• Receive beverage orders, communicate specials, and enter orders into the POSsystem for bartenders.• Carry and balance full trays of beverages to deliver orders to guests.• Prepare charges, accept payments, and maintain an accurate bank at all times.• Continuously circulate assigned workstations to respond to guest needs and performside work.• Adhere to all liquor liability laws, including the Dram Shop Act to prevent service tointoxicated guests.Beverage Technician• Serve as the primary lead for the Easy Bar and Smart Bar automated beveragedispensing systems, overseeing daily functionality, calibration, and routine pouraccuracy checks.• Clean, stock, and maintain automated systems, liquor rooms, and storage cabinets,while troubleshooting minor technical issues and monitoring keg systems.• Produce and prepare batch cocktails in kegs, bourbon barrel-aged cocktails, andhouse-made mixers according to standardized recipes and par levels.• Manage quality control, inventory counts, stock rotation (FIFO), and warehousereplenishment for beer, wine, liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies.• Assist bartenders and beverage servers during peak volume periods by replenishingstation supplies, clearing trash, and cleaning spills.• Maintain strict adherence to all alcohol handling, sanitation, safety, Tribal Gamingregulations, and North Carolina ABC laws.Qualifications:Technical Skills: Computer literate with basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems(Agilysys InfoGenesis preferred).Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and delegateeffectively.Availability: Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and the ability to workall shifts (day, swing, and night).Experience: Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume environment.Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.Licenses and Certifications: Must be able to obtain a Catawba Gaming License.Work Environment & Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this position,the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/uselower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at adesk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand;walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
