Job summary

The Dual Registered Technologist at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) performs Radiology/CT/MRI or Mammography exams across a wide age range, following established protocols and radiation safety guidelines. They operate Radiology, CT, MRI or Mammography equipment and provide high-quality imaging for interpretation by a physician.

Under supervision of Imaging Director, they collaborate in a team-oriented environment, maintain licensure (ARRT-CT) and BLS, and contribute to patient

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology and one year of radiologic experience.
• Must be ARRT registered in Computed Tomography and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards.
• Ability to produce high-quality imaging with minimal supervision and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiology/CT/MRI or Mammography examinations according to protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure age-appropriate imaging.
• Operate imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety according to hospital policy.
