Job summary

Mercy Health’s St. Charles Hospital seeks a skilled Multi-Modality Technologist 2 to perform imaging across two modalities with emphasis on patient safety and accurate data capture. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring imaging quality and regulatory compliance.

Required ARRT or RDMS certification, with ARRT-based education preferred. Expect ongoing training in PACS, EPIC EHR, and expanding modality expertise.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from ARRT-accredited program or approved Nuclear Medicine/Ultrasound program (preferred).
• Certification with ARRT or RDMS (required).
• Additional certifications listed are favorable.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties for two imaging modalities (e.g., XR, CT, MRI) per case.
• Ensures patient safety and applies radiation protection principles.
• Obtains clinical history and lab work for licensed practitioner review.
• Identifies, prepares, and administers medications/contrast as prescribed.
• Uses power injector for contrast with approved vascular access, following guidelines.
