The position is full-time and on-site. Applicants must hold both FDEP Water License and FDEP Wastewater Operator License (Class C or higher) and have a valid driver's license; pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• FDEP Water License or higher is required.
• FDEP Wastewater Operator License or higher is required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems and equipment.
• Monitor plant operations using meters, gauges, control panels, and PLCs.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and take corrective action per procedures.
• Record data and observations in daily logs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Conduct field laboratory testing to support process control.
• Adjust chemical dosages to optimize treatment performance.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process variances.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
