RCMA Immokalee Community Academy in Immokalee, FL, is seeking energetic 2nd–5th grade teachers for an on-site role. The school serves English Language Learners in a dual-language, 50:50 English/Spanish program with a one-way immersion model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a temporary Teacher's Certificate or be certified as required by Chapter 231.02 Florida Statutes.
• One to three years of teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards the health and safety of all students.
• Assists students to achieve academically in language, literacy, math, social studies, science, arts, and physical development through classroom instruction and approved curricula.
• Establishes rapport with students and parents and communicates student progress to facilitate two‑way communication.
• Maintains classroom routines, establishes behavior standards, and addresses inappropriate behavior using available resources.
• Plans and evaluates learning activities and daily lessons; maintains student records and progress.
• Assists in developing Student Achievement Plans and goals.
• Works as a team to develop curricula, learning strategies, and resource identification.
