Job summary

Utilita Energy is seeking a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to install meters in domestic properties with safety and professionalism. You will represent Utilita and provide a positive customer experience while upholding high safety, quality, and service standards.

The role includes a structured workday, scheduling several weeks in advance, and opportunities to take on additional work as it suits you. Training begins at our Warrington academy with ongoing mentoring.

Qualifications

• Must hold CCN1 or CMA1 and MET1 or equivalent in Smart Metering.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install smart meters safely and professionally in domestic properties.
• Represent Utilita in customers' homes and deliver a positive customer experience.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and service.

• On-call payment: Receive £330 for each on-call week, based on an average rota of one week in five.(OTE of £42,293 just withthebase salary and conducting mandatory on callrequirements)
• Industry-leading installation bonus: Benefit from an uncapped installation bonus of £25 per meter or £50 per dual installation once you have completed a minimum of four installations in a day, withadditionalwork opportunities available to further enhance your earnings.
• London weighting: Receive anadditional£2,000 annual allowance if you live within the M25.
• Enhanced overtime: Enhanced overtime rates for Sunday working.

What we need from you.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:

• Smart Metering qualifications, includingCCN1 or CMA1 and MET1, or equivalent.
