HEI Hotels & Resorts, on behalf of Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort, seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee cleanliness across guestrooms, meeting spaces, public areas and pool areas, with budget and staffing accountability. You will plan staffing, supervise staff, and coordinate with other department leaders, ensuring OSHA-compliant operations and high guest satisfaction.

Competenze

• 5+ years of management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping operations.
• Able to work with other department leaders and report clearly to a Director above this role.
• Able to resolve guest, supervisor, and associate conflicts.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, budget forecasting, and quality assurance programs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards, through inspections of guestrooms, public space areas, and pool areas.
• Oversee pool operations and overnight floor care, where applicable.
• Manage the housekeeping budget for hotel within the controls set by the Director of Services.
• Conduct periodic inventory of guest supplies and small equipment, including a monthly laundry inventory.
• Use labor management tools to schedule and control labor costs, and flex staffing with forecasted occupancy, F and B activity, and group events at properties.
• Interview, hire, train, develop, evaluate, and recommend discipline or termination for the Housekeeping Manager at each hotel and, when needed, other department staff.
• Monitor guest service scores and comments and take action to resolve guest issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Assist in evaluating the condition of furniture, fixtures, and decor. Make recommendations for the preventative maintenance program and rehab projects.
• Able and willing to personally perform or assist with hands-on housekeeping duties when needed.
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping SOPs and policies.
• Operate the department pursuant to OSHA requirements and guidelines.
• Report on performance, budget status, and staffing to the Director of Services.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
