Qualifications

• Employment in local school system required.
• Meet the faculty credential standards allowed by the Higher Learning Commission.
• For PCS 1.1: Master’s degree in the course content area, or Master’s degree and 18 graduate credit hours in the course content area.
• For PCS 1.2: Bachelor’s degree in the course content area and/or 2000 hours of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training provided by the College in course curriculum, assessment methods, and administrative requirements.
• Submit a copy of the course syllabus to the College before the first day of class for each section taught.
• Deliver instruction using College's course content and learning objectives.
• Provide a copy of the course syllabus to each student enrolled in the dual credit course.
• Ensure accurate course rosters.
• Complete timely enrollment verification, midterm grading, and final grading in the College's system.
• Schedule course observations with the assigned Observer.
• Maintain communication with the College and Career Readiness department, Faculty Liaison, and high school administrators.
