Job summary

Kilgore College seeks an adjunct faculty member in Health Sciences to teach dual credit courses to high school students. Courses may be offered in-person, online, hybrid, or multi-modal at Kilgore or Longview campuses or at partner high schools.

The successful candidate will teach one or more courses, support students, develop syllabi, and manage KC email and documentation promptly. This is a part-time adjunct role located in Texas.

Qualifications

• For academic transfer courses, the successful candidate must have a master's degree or higher and at least 18 graduate hours in the subject area.
• For career and technical education courses, various qualifications will be considered, such as degree earned and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more courses as an adjunct faculty member.
• Assist students and respond to KC email daily.
• Develop appropriate course syllabi.
• Submit required documentation in a timely manner.
• Fulfill other duties as needed.
