Job summary

InSynch Health in Houston, TX seeks a dual-certified FNP/PMHNP to join our inpatient psychiatric care team. The ideal candidate will provide integrated medical and psychiatric care, participate in treatment planning, and support holistic recovery for adults in an inpatient setting.

Spanish-speaking preferred. Starting salary ranges from $120k to $140k per year, with PTO, health benefits, and retirement plan with employer match.

Qualifications

• Dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the medical health needs of an inpatient psychiatric caseload, conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to integrate medical and psychiatric care within individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver care within our state-of-the-art inpatient psychiatric hospital, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.

We are seeking a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner holding both FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) and PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner) credentials. Experienced providers are required. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional medical care within a behavioral health setting, fostering a supportive environment that promotes holistic wellness and recovery. Spanish-speaking providers are strongly preferred (though not required), as we strive to better serve our diverse patient population.
