Job summary

Social Capital Resources is seeking a DTC Transfer Associate for a full-time role in New York. You will support end-to-end trade processing, including in-kind transfers via DTC, and coordinate with custodians and prime brokers to ensure accurate delivery and receipt.

The role requires 4–7 years in trading or fund operations, 2+ years with DTC and cost basis, and a solid understanding of the trade lifecycle. You will perform daily reconciliations and address transfer discrepancies in real time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–7 years of experience in trading operations or fund operations at a prime broker or asset manager.
• 2+ years of experience with DTC.
• 2+ years of experience with cost basis.
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle.
• Experience collaborating with prime brokers on daily reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support front-to-back trade execution and ensure accurate processing.

• Support high-volume, TLH-driven trading and harvesting events.

• Preserve tax lot and cost basis accuracy across transfers; validate lot-level details with PMs and Fund Administrators.
• Investigate and resolve DTC transfer rejects, breaks, and discrepancies in real time.

Rapidly Growing Hedge Fund is seeking a DTC Transfer Associate for a full-time role!

Responsibilities:

• Supporting front-to-back trade execution, ensuring smooth and accurate trade processing, and facilitating seamless interaction between trading, portfolio management, counterparties, and custodians
• Own the end-to-end processing of in-kind security movement via DTC
• Coordinating directly with custodians, prime brokers, and counterparties to ensure accurate delivery and receipt.
• Support high-volume, systematic trading driven by TLH rebalancing and harvesting events.
• Perform daily reconciliations across trades, positions, cash balances, and tax lots at the account level
• Ensure accurate tax lot and cost basis preservation across every in-kind transfer, partnering with PMs and Fund Administrators to confirm lot-level detail carries through correctly
• Investigate and resolve DTC transfer rejects, breaks, and delivery/receipt discrepancies in real time, escalating promptly to avoid settlement or tax reporting impact
