Job summary

Elite Line Services in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an entry-level team member to align bags to ensure they enter the EDS machines, supporting smooth baggage flow in the terminal. Responsibilities include routing luggage from the default pier to carts, operating the Manual Encode Station with a handheld barcode reader, clearing jams, and maintaining safety training as required.

English literacy and flexible schedule including weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Overview

Under minimal direction, is responsible for aligning bags to ensure they enter the EDS machines

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Aligns luggage to ensure it enters the EDS machine without jamming.
• Move baggage from default pier and make-up units to carts and deliver to appropriate location.
• Operate Manual Encode Station using a hand held barcode reader
• Assist with clearing bag jams throughout the system
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.
• Any mechanical/electrical experience
