Job summary

Valley Community Services in Bedford Area seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist people with intellectual disabilities on their path to independence and community integration.

You will receive paid training and enjoy a flexible schedule with all shifts available in our Bedford Area locations, supporting clients in daily activities and be part of a compassionate team dedicated to meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid PA driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Background checks completed.
• Pre-Employment Drug Testing required.
• Immediate accrual of Vacation/Sick Time.
• Nine overtime paid holidays for timed worked plus paid day off for birthday.
• Disability, Life, and other supplemental insurance available.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual disabilities toward independence and community integration.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of clients during shifts.
