Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals in Elk Grove, CA to support individuals with developmental disabilities in community and home settings. The DSP will assist with daily living skills and implement behavior plans under supervision.

This full-time, 40 hours/week position on 2nd shift offers pay of $24.00–$26.00 per hour, benefits, and opportunities for certification advancement including RBT.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, speak, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to work flexible schedules as needed.
• Earn certification (RBT) with Merakey support within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities in community, family or home settings.
• Assist with direct care and implementation of behavior plans.
• Help individuals develop personal care, communication, and social skills.
