Job summary

Meridian Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Crystal, MN. You will assist individuals with daily living activities, including meals, personal care, medication administration, and community outings, while supporting their personal goals.

Requirements include English proficiency, a valid driver’s license with insurance, a DHS background clearance, and reliable transportation. The role offers an hourly wage of $22 and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for Adult Programs.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to support Youth Programs.
• Proficient in spoken and written English language.
• Must have a vehicle to use for work with current car insurance.
• Must have a valid DHS Background Study clearance.
• Comfortable providing personal cares (including bathroom supports, bathing/showering, medication administration).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in working toward personal goals and daily living activities.
• Support with meal preparation, community outings, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, appointments, and medication administration.
• Respond to interfering behaviors as needed.
• Work on tailored outcomes with each person and participate actively in community activities.
• Provide supervision and transportation in the community; a company vehicle may be available or use of own vehicle is possible.
