Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy of Georgia is seeking a DSP-Health Liaison in Atlanta to coordinate medical aspects, transport individuals to appointments, and manage comprehensive scheduling and documentation for assigned caseload. This role interfaces with medical providers and nursing staff to ensure adherence to care plans and timely communication.

The position requires 2–3 years in a medical setting, with CNA/MA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in medical setting; direct support experience preferred.
• CNA/MA certification may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between nursing staff and program staff regarding medical support for caseload.
• Transport individuals to appointments.
• Monitor and follow guidelines for self-administration of medications; update MARs as orders change.
• Schedule annual physicals and follow-up appointments (dental, eye, adaptive equipment, specialists).
• Record all appointments in Therap and notify relevant stakeholders via email.
