Job summary

ViaQuest Healthcare Central is hiring to provide direct care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in our ICFs in Ohio. The role offers hourly pay between $17.75 and $18.75 with full-time benefits including medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k, PTO and annual pay raises.

Responsibilities include direct care, shift coverage, training new hires, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment while promoting independence and empowerment for residents.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Experience in developmental disabilities or direct care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administering site training to new hires.
• Assisting with shift coverage as needed.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
