Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior DSP Engineer to develop advanced signal processing solutions for communications, RF, sensing, and electronic warfare.

You will design and implement DSP algorithms, develop software in C/C++, and collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams through requirements, design, testing, and deployment. A U.S. security clearance and ITAR familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, Master's 6+ years, or PhD 3+ years in DSP/communications or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong understanding of DSP principles and implementation techniques.
• Experience with communications systems and communications theory.
• Proficiency in C or C++ software development.
• Experience developing, testing, and validating DSP algorithms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; ITAR compliance.
• Software Defined Radio (SDR) experience.
• Electronic Warfare, RF, radar, or communications systems experience.
• Experience with signal detection, filtering, correlation, and sample rate conversion techniques.
• Familiarity with system requirements development and traceability.
• Experience integrating software and hardware systems.
• Git, TFS, or similar configuration management tools.

In this role, you will design and implement DSP algorithms, develop software in C/C++, and support software-defined radio technologies. You will work closely with software, hardware, systems, and integration teams to take solutions from requirements and design through testing, validation, and deployment. The ideal candidate has strong experience in digital signal processing, communications theory, and software development, along with a passion for solving complex technical challenges in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Skills and Requirements
