Job summary

At Peace Health Care Agency in Bellefonte, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

You will provide person-centered care, foster independence, and ensure safety while implementing individualized care plans and BSPs, and you will accompany participants to appointments, practicing HIPAA compliance. A valid driver's license and prior DSP experience are preferred, and flexible scheduling is available.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of behavioral support plans (BSPs) and home care practices

• Ability to assist individuals with mobility and personal care needs

• Proficient in goal tracking and implementing individualized support strategies

• Solid understanding of individual rights, person-centered advocacy, and HIPAA compliance

• Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and access to your own reliable transportation.

• Prior experience as a DSP
